“Mrs. Miller stiffened and opened her eyes to a dull, direct stare. “Hello.”, said Miriam”(15 Capote). The story of Miriam is a strange and peculiar tale about a woman who lives alone, and never goes out of her reach to be social. Mrs. Miller lives a quiet life; she’s a widow, she rarely goes out of her house, and she lives by a highly repetitive routine. When the snow was falling soft and sweet is when Mrs. Miller meets Miriam, and her whole life in a short amount days goes into complete chaos. Whenever it is snowing, Miriam always seems to be present, and the more you see of Miriam the more rough, and unbearable the snow becomes along Miriam’s visits.
